Posting on behalf of a neighbour;

Red 130 king cab 200TDi with front winch went missing from Sheffield 10 on the night of Wed 5th March :(
Not many red ones around here, so if you see any panels up for grabs, please let me or the police know.

Hopefully there will be a photo to follow when the owner drops it off for me.

Ask your friend if any security devices were installed other than factory. And tell every land rover (defender owner) you see to add security devices as it is #1 stolen in the UK. get the word out.

Steering wheel disk lock fitted.
According to the local police, the idea seems to be to jack it up, lower onto four car showroom skids, slide it sideways into the middle of the road, immobilised or not, and straight onto a low loader/beavertail.
Narrow terraced street and no-one heard a thing.

Sorry to hear about another thieving scum bag. On the bright side mine was stolen from just down the road from you (S6) and I got it back two days later. It was found in a retail car park (rather worse for wear) near Ecclesfield.

So far since owning mine for around 6 months, it's disappeared once, attempted theft twice, and vandalised or parts tried to be ripped off on multiple occasions.

I really do hope you get it back, and the little disrespectful turds are caught.

I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I suspect you need to keep your eyes peeled for parts by now sadly.
I feel quite sorry for the guy, as well as rather angry; it's the fourth on he's had stolen in recent years.
How they managed to nick a 130 in a narrow road without waking anyone I don't know.

Reading all these posts about stolen Landys on a daily basis seems so unreal to me, it's like a joke.....

I just can't believe this could actually happen, it's maddening and sad at the same time.

I just wish that the police there make a few thieves a bad example for others so that this practice be cut down.

The fooked up thing is, if you the owner decide to catch the asswipes and hammer them in your back yard, the po po police will be after you for battery.

It's sad to read these posts here about stolen Landys.

It seems sheffield and rotherham appear to be quite a hotspot as well as the peak park, cant believe no one heard in the street.
These people clearly know where you live and your habbits.
