My Red Defender 90 genuine 200tdi, reg. H253CBV, was stolen last night from Flatt Road, Harper Adams University College, Edgmond, Newport, Shropshire.
It has silver modular wheels with large AT tyres fitted. It has a winch bumper with two large spot lights fitted to it. The winch fitted was a orange 12,500lb winchmax. There is also a new galvanised roof rack fitted which had 3 Insa Turbo Special Track's on brand new bloack modular wheels on it. There was a further two special track's in the rear.
This landrover is individual because its not a standard landrover red but is a metallic bright red. Also the chassis is a modified discovery chassis that anyone that knows landrovers will recognise as not standard defender.
Also it has 2 6x9 speakers mounted in the top rear corners of the roof which are mounted into thick pine wood enclosures that i hand made. Also has a sub fitted in the rear. It has a swingaway rear wheel carrier fitted. It has a boost guage fitted and a central cubby box.
Another distinctive feature is on the rear drivers side, under where the landrover badge is, there is a vinyl imitation landrover badge with the word 'BEAR' stuck to it.
Other difining features are the rear lights were odly matched, one side have a clear lens kits and light guards, the other just normal coloured lenses.
Another defining feature is there is a small hockey-ball sized dent in the front corner of the drivers side wing and the passenger rear side corner is slightly crumpled and some paint missing where that corner met a lamp post recently explaining the miss-matched lights.
Another feature is the spare wheels side wall has been scrubbed so now has a white band round it and has very uneven tread wear.
It has chequer plate on the wings, sills and a small patch on the rear door only.
It has discovery axles fitted as well as a disco transfer box. The gearbox is also a just fitted Ascroft refurb box!!!(LT77)
These are as many features i can pick out that define mind landy from any other.
Please keep an eye out for it and if your buying parts think first!!
