Hi guys,

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who's disco has had the headlights stolen last night in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

It's bad enough for any of us when our vehicles are vandalised and parts stolen but in this instance it's very serious as the owner is an Emergency First respoonder for the ambulance service and the only one in our area as well as being a scout leader.

With his vehicle off the road we now have no first responder in Hucknall and this WILL put lives in danger.

What kind of person purposely disables a vehicle that has emergency services stickers on it!?

Please spread the word and if you hear of any damaged D2 facelift headlights being offered for sale report it to the police (and please let me know) as the culprit has committed a very serious crime.

Not wanting to assume anything but you do mean the facelifted lights on the disco 2 right? What colour was the disco, it may help people to know as normally you get the colour coded bottom bit on the light as well. Keep your eye on Ebay.

Check out this cheeky little chappie, says hes based in essex but can you just enter any location when creating an ebay user profile?

3 listings for lights, probably the same ones just pics took in different locations, Ive asked him where abouts he is in essex as I would like to arrange local pick up.

Will see what he says.

Actually quite suspect. A new user selling three sets of Disco lights?

No reply as of yet but its early days I suppose, heres a copy of the message sent:

"Hi there im really interested in your lights but before I bid I was just wondering if local pick up would be ok? My mate lives in essex and is coming down really soon so I was wondering if he could nip round with the cash and collect the lights? Where abouts are you? Is there any other damage to the lights except for the light lens scratches? Thanks"

Will keep you updated.
