another ebay gem !

MOst of those links at least include a solid chassis. and at least one person states the V5 will have to be filled in and sent off by them. As it should be.

Take this then we have got an E reg 110 CSW. Bought it was rotten all over, have rebuilt it since it now has a new galvy chassis, new bulkhead, new doors, 300TDI (apposed to 2.5TD). So please now tell me a car that started off in the state of the one I am selling, thats now fully rebuilt/restored is that a ringer to then??? Cause not being funny all the rebuilds in magazines or any forums are the same story as the E reg 110.

I would personally love to see it get rebuilt having been in our family for a few years! I would have rebuilt it myself but sadly time and funds and already having 2 other 110s it didn't make any sense to spend money on this one for the time being!

Its not being selfish!! So far everyone who has emailed me about it want the whole thing have only had 1 guy who wanted just the V5 as he was building one from the ground up!

I have put collection only as i want it filled out properly!!!! Well look at the first link then thats the wrong chassis for that age car anyways!!!!! And as for mine all it needs is 2 outriggers and a crossmember! So it is usable, i tend to over exagerate things on ebay so i don't get the comebacks!

Its not ringing! I'm selling it as a rolling chassis complete with Axles which still gives you enough points to keep it on that registration! Its up to who ever buys it do what they want with it then....not my problem

HOT HOT HOT , this has really got you all going , aint it nice when such a discussion may bring about a change in the way people dispose of their old landies , most of what has been said i would very well agree with , stolen landies on false i.d. etc . But it can be difficult for the unknowing to avoid the wrong uns, ( I for one was lucky enough to buy a 61 plate series 2 with the original chassis i checked the numbers on dumb iron against logbook ,) but you see so many with the dumbs " changed because of severe corrosion" .
Does any one have a good suggestion on how stop this trade ? , how about a section on the log book for restoration / rebuild , and log book only gets released after inspection ??

You probably would have got away with that if it wasn't for your last paragraph, there's probably JUST enough points there to make it re-registerable...

Be honest, you wanted more money for it than just a rolling chassis with V5 so thought you'd aim your ad at the scumbags

hi there how much are you wanting for it? ive got a complete 2011 90 here i cant use as ive some how lost the numberplates and want to use it for green laning.
I could just use the plates untill i find my own it would be handy. it would be even more handy if they were tax exempt toothen i wouldnt need to pay road tax. cheers. let me know. thanks
ps if you have any more v5 i could also use them as im sure if i looked hard enough i could find a few other such landys kicking about

Hang on a sec.... i never said im good at it.... but he sounded like he was wantin it rebuilt... i would be happy to take it off his hands...but would need the boss to help with it .

You can have it if you come and get it by tomorrow morning! As its getting weighed in, along with the 1971 Range Rover sitting next to it!! It would certainly test anyones skills if they could rebuild either lol

Lol.......They were all my projects how ever I'm now moving house so they have to go The 110 was used to belong to my parents however it was used for taking boats in and out of the sea so you can imagine the state thats in!!! The 71 Range Rover was bought as a donor for my 1970 2 door, however once I finished my 1970 RR, the plan was to restore the 71, however thats never going to happen as I havn't started the 71. Also amougst them is a 1956 Series 1, which is one of the first 88"!!

Lol only the 110 and the 71 Rangie are going for scrap, wouldn't ever part with the 70 RR, and as for the Series 1 thats tucked away in the back of the barn and isn't taking no harm there hehe I will get round to doing them eventually, hopefully will be able to start on the 70 2 door once I have got some bits at Billing for it

I fink I need to apologise for losing my rag. I've been having a bad week (really, really rare for me). And your comment of "not my problem" when it was pointed out that selling a V5 and VIN for a Land Rover would assist thieves in shifting a nicked Landy really tipped me over the edge.
