another 300tdi convertion

Hi im planning a rebuild and just need to get a few thinks clear in my head.
Engine. going to use a disco auto 300tdi i belive i need to (1) put a cable operated injection pump on to get rid of the fly by wire think (2) ditch the auto box and get a R380 defender box ,or mod a disco manual box.(3)change the fly wheel on the engine to a manual one that will house the clutch. will they bolt together then.

chassis going for 300tdi one.

axels got some disco ones

most of the body parts will come an 89 td. do i need a new tunnel, bulkhead plate and floor plates from a 300.

sorry to ask but i have looked in the search and found the above its just to get clear. ps is there a spell check on here i think i need one,can not keep asking the wife she might find out what planed.

are you fitting engine as lr did with transmission slightly further forward or as with the td

its better to alter car to 300 spec floor plates tunnel props etc as all other parts become 300 parts ,disco t/box will be good but will need two 8mm hole tapping in rear speedo housing to take your hand brake assembly

This is all sounding good thanks for the info, there is two parts to the tunnel i take it. and does the tunnel and floor mats fit out of the td.

3 parts actually as you need to mod seat box for tunnel a front prop from a disco will fit a def in 300 tdi spec

Hi just read on here that i may have to change the injectors and pipes when i change the injector pump from fly b wire to cable is this correct.
