annoying noise from doors!!Help!

trying to get all the stupid little jobs done and have come across an annoying clicking sound from the doors ive located it to the catch stop, its connected to the bracket on the car via a small metal type pin, (hope im making some sense) what ill love to know is either the part number or where to get some new ones, just to clarify then im after the pins! its really annoying me as every time i open or close the door it makes a double type click! Thanks.

Mine has just started doing the exact same thing,as you say its bloody annoying and quite loud aswell,so i'll be keeping an eye on this post.

sounds like door check strap I'm guessing it has a round pin with slot "roll pin"

yeah that sounds right, just had a look on lrseries.com and have come up with the following, so hopefully will cure the problem!!

also buy a can of spray grease(clearlube) and dose the strap in it -quietens it down
