Annoying beeping

Hi guys and girls
I'm having trouble with my 56 plate vogue tdv8.
I lock it and about ten to fifteen minutes later there is a beeping noise coming from the car not as loud as the alarm but still annoying and the indicators aren't flashing has anyone got any ideas

It's Morse code for the impending failure.

Have you read the Drivers/Users Manual?
Sometimes things like that are mentioned in the body of the text.
