Hi, anyone else experienced my problem, got a 02 TD4 ES, runs a treat, but for no reason the alarm has started having a mind of its own. the other night (at 3 and 3.30 am !!) it went of all by itself its also done it when I've washed it !!, any tips or has it just got a mind of its own, don't fancy leaving it unlocked overnight just to get some sleep !!!!

One of ours did this a while back. Wife put it down it to a big spider living behind the rear view mirror. Said it was her pet but she decided to relocate it to the wing mirror when I started making her go out and check the car at 2 in the morning.
No problems since.

Quoman ,this one has been on before old thread search through, think i recall a sensitivity adjustment for the inertia sensors of the interior alarms or summit,or a big spider eek ,best oh luck. . . .quoman said:
