I had the same problem,But I read an American web on P38's it said.Pressing in and holding in the door unlock button on your fob,put the key in and turn to the unlock position then hold for 3 seconds,return to the vertical position remove the key then you can release the button.Then go through your eka procedure.Its worth a try.good luck.
