And now the rear props gone and hurt itself.

I went to replace the squeaky UJ in the rear propshaft this afternoon and was horrified when I'd noticed that the yoke on the propshaft itself had actually split around the shoe of the UJ. I now require a urgent replacement as I need the Land Rover for Monday morning.

Can any off you dear chaps kindly sell me one at a reasonable price. Ideally local to the North East, but will travel if need.

Thanks :)

Ouch. Just done the UJs on my rear prop today. Did you get sorted?

Well in a fashion, I've ordered a new replacement prop which comes with a 12 month warrenty. Unfortunately it won't arrive until Thursday. So I telephoned the test centre to explain, they said it wasn't a problem, just bring it down with rear prop removed. So I popped it into Diff lock and slowly drove to the testing station 3 mile away (Max 25mph). I was terrified, there were loads of weired noises coming from the transfer box area  have to pick it up this afternoon.

Fingers crossed :)
