Amber Hill Decent/TC warning lights

I have a 2000 TD4 amber hilldecent light/traction control light stays on, re-start the engine and the ECU re-sets its self. Very intermitant fault, any one any ideas. Also i am after a fault code reader for the same car, can any one point out the best one to buy, or should i leave this side of things to my robbing main dealer!

Take it to a LR indie with Testbook or autologic/rovacom,get them to read the codes if you dont want to do the main dealer route.None of the cheap code readers will gets comms with abs/hdc/tc on your car.( Even Bosch KTS wont)

hi ugly. . .go into search for yer fault a lot written,favorite is loose connection near h/brake i fink. . . .
