Am I missing something?

I'm no expert & I've only owned this for less than 1 week but my guess is that this is where the horn should go & that is why it doesn't work... Maybe if I had a horn then the radio may work too???

btw it's behind the nearside headlight...

Yeh someone probably removed it to stop the alarm from going off, how long you got left on the mot?

You could try some viagra. I hear that's quite good for giving you the horn.

It could simply have rattled loose and dropped off, It could be it was faulty and was removed to be examined and then not replaced. I would've expected someone to simply unplug the wires rather than remove it altogether if the alarm kept sounding and it needed silencing. There's only one way to know for sure.

Nah woulda just been the previous's problem,
As for the radio not working shouldn't have anything at all to do with the horn, is it the manufactures standard or a new un?

I managed to get the radio working once I got hold of the pins to pull it out... shame it was the same day the new replacement R770 radio turned up!

Now waiting for a new horn & ratty I need no help there my son! bigroo's my name...

btw I have seen on the ubiquitous eBay that Freelanders have two horns... Is that just for TD4 models as my Haynes manual only indicates one horn position...
