Hi All
110 TD5 - I'm fitting twin front shock mounts and can't for the life of me work out where the bottom mount bolts to - can you tell me where to stick it please! They are similar to these.
Cheers

doesnt the mounting plate fasten using the threaded bottom of the original shock absorber trapping the plate with the securing nut

unless your overlanding/comp safari racing twin shocks seem a waste of money they have no advantage offroad. Only IF they are over worked Racing/overlanding and overheating/boiling the oil but this is rare unless competing.

Just done a year overlanding in southern Africa where I broke a front coil & shocker, hence the upgrade for our next trip - anyway I think I've sorted out where it bolts to - ta

FYI - Bottom bracket bolts onto the radius arm front bush and onto the trailing arm bracket - I modified mine to slot over the bolts rather than have to remove the actual bolts as all the force is downwards

I have had the same problem with front and rear shocks and now changing to twin front and rear. Don’t do competition, but the weight carried Overlanding knocks the stuffing out of them especially in the deserts with all the heat. We have also not long returned from Africa and found you can’t substitute for over engineering on the vehicle.
