Got the engine back together, filled up with coolant etc
did a quick fault code scan, came up with throttle position sensor, misfire on cylinder 3 & low fuel. cleared the codes (hadn't started the engine at this time)
Turned the key, started immediately, however horrendous screeching noise which sounded like a belt. Turned it off.
It would appear that the alternator has seized,
Took the alternator off and it wouldn't turn, put some grips on it and managed to turn it, it now turns by hand but does seem quite tight..
Any ideas??
Cheers
