hi guys.

hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather.

regarding the freelander alarms.

are you able to alter setting etc on it, to carry out the following.

when you arm the FL if there is a window open it will automatically put them up.

after you get into the car and start it after about 20 seconds for the central locking to operate on its own and locking all the doors.

the reason i ask is i useto have a compnay van that done this and to be honest was really handy.

i dont know the make and model of the car alarm and dont know how to find out.

thanks

gary

ps, after sound advice from you guys i have indeed got a volumetric alarm and after arming it and watching the lights and putting my arm in the FL it will indeed go off.thanks

don't think the factory fit is sophisticated enough to have these features.

I remember "back in the day" with the Harry Moss alarms, you could buy the various modules to make it do what you wanted, Window Lift Interface etc.

As for the door locking, I just got into the habit of using the switch on the dash to lock the doors after I started the engine.

(Years back, had an incident where a peckham pikey low life opened the back of me astravan when I was stuck in traffic)
