all wired in yellow?

pickin another sankey up tomorrow so got me light board out to test, but it went and poped me fuses, took the socket off crossmember and all the leads are in yellow, yeah its a 7 pin, but is wired for 12 but they are cut , some have been cross linked with another pin etc, any one else seen an ex mod landy wired thru with one colour! or has it been bodged by previous fella? thanks guys

well yer would of thunk the yella fella would o used cable with trace printed up the cable, nope, or marked it some how , nope, the only mark is one about two fut long down one side, then he claimed the mrs borrowed it the day before i bort it , ****, seems after playing with it on the ramps safternoon its wired for the nato socket but these have been clipped, got bad earth so thats not helping , easy enough tho, jus need to light test the socket tomorrow
 
ah always, how u guess? not as bad as it sounds, been ex mod FFR had 12 v and 24v looms in and over the years its just been added to , chopped and changed etc, just this earth prob and the reason why its been looped together at the back of the socket needs sorting really , or i rip it all out and start again over the w ank holiday
 
if yer would use speaker wire (good quality or not) for an auxiliry towing loom what leads are on yer battery ? a bit of 1.5mm no doubt, so how longs it last then, fused .... be honest?

Just go to Halfrauds or Maplins and buy a length of multicored trailer wire. correct sizes and colour. all protected by a nice shiny Black PVC sheath. what more could you ask for???

wot ya mean no towing fookin karavans,
there's nowt wrong wi towin karavans if ya no how ta drive,
it's the twots that drive at 40mph everywhere (speshully when there's a big hill comin up:eek: ) that you sould be picking on an the old bastids with no fookin idea,
leave us caravaners alone:mad:





anyway you can't take a caravan green laning an you now:confused:
 
ah nawt wrong wi karavans really , when i were a kid i all i remember was the sound of me old man ****in in a bucket , spoze caravans have evolved , not prepared to find out tho........
 
try it! i'm sur you'd enjoy it!
i find with the caravan your closer to the green lanes a you can tell the missus your just goin for a drive,
a then you ant got as far to go home after a good days laning,
never book anywhere unless i know theres a few lanes close by
