Hi folks, looking to replace my current set of ATs but not sure what to go for. BFG ATs look good, but expensive. Cooper Discoverers are a consideration, but I'm not sure. Thinking about pairing up with a set of genuine Wolf rims. Driving will be more on road than off. Any suggestions?

Ah'd suggest General grabbers AT2's mesel'. But it might be worth while trying a search on here to see what other folks have tae say;)
If ye're mainly on road drivin', why not stick with the bog standard rims?

I've had BFG all terrains for over 20,000 miles now, mostly on road. The fronts will need replacing in a couple of thousand I recon but the back ones have hardly worn at all. They're quiet on road and not bad off, worth the price I would say.

Got AT2's on modular steel wheels (got a good package deal) and they are great on or off road, only been stuck a couple of times in mud ruts, my fault not the tyres, think i'd have been stuck with Mud's

Happy shopping

front and rear have done 24,000 miles and i recon all good for the same again plus some.

I put a brand new set of General grabbers AT2's on the Disco 3000 miles ago.
Great in the snow and pretty good in the wet mud. No noticeable increase in noise (previously had road tyres on).
Based on my limited experience with them I would recommend, particularly if you are going to be spending more time on tarmac.
