Alarm

Hi

Changed my battery this morning, everything went fine, or seemed to, but now the Alarm goes off, its all been re-connected for over an hour and its gone off 3 times since.

Never had a problem with the alarm before.

Any ideas ?

Disconnect the battery negative for a few minutes, then reconnect in a firm movement so it doesn't spark. Fixes it on my old spares dog when it throws a wobbly.

You haven't disturbed the bonnet switch whilst you were working on the battery?

I wouldnt even know where to find the Bonnet switch

But i Read somewhere on the net that if you turn the alarm off and on 3 times fast it resets it, I did this a couple of times with both keys and it seams to have worked, unless the car just reset itself, who knows....but its stopped doing it now.
