my Disco was locking and unlocking ok not a problem then out of the blue the fobs worked intermittently for a couple of days now stopped altogether, now I've changed the batteries and done a resync, also when locking with the key ( in the drivers door) now the indicators don't flash ......HELP please.

I've recharged the battery,if you manually lock it ie using the key (which turns off the interior sensors)the indicators should flash to indicate the immobiliser is active, it's now parked up I can't drive it.

If the hazards and left/right indication is working ok then the output signal from the security ecu may be faulty, maybe as simple as a loose connection.

The hazards flashing is just a remote indication of locking or unlocking, it's the red LED in the dash that indicates the alarm is set and the immobiliser is active, for which u will need the functioning fob to unset the alarm and remobilise the engine, if u have problems with the fob, try entering your emergency access code via the drivers door lock to get the engine started.

The hazards don't flash when I unlock using the key but do flash when the alarm goes off.

Where would I find this code I don't have handbook.

You will have to pop into a main LR dealers service department and ask if they will look on LRs data base for the four digit code, they will need your vehicles VIN and proof of ownership.
You will find the procedure on entering the code somewhere in the Forum or on the www.
