alarm/immobilizer

hi all
this has been happing for a while but now has got worse.when i unlock the car the indicators start flashing and wont let me start car!!!!!! i then have to lock and unlock again,this has got worse and now have to do it 3 or 4 times !!!! has anybdy come acoorss this problem and are able to help me ????

I agree but i i've also learned my lesson........i'm goin to butt in just if it's a D2

whoops sorry its a 94m 300 tdi .as i am married i hought everybody was a mind reader !!!! lol

ah thats i think is prob . i only have the old style where you put key in lock and twist !!!!!! it was fine for the last year but it has started to get worse in the last few weeks ???
