Yo!

Recently I have been having some problems with the leisure battery going flat after a week or so of not running my 90. I assumed it is the inverter as it sparks when you connect it even when it is turned off.

Last week I moved the alarm from being connected to the leisure battery to the starter battery so even if the leisure one is flat I can still turn off the immobiliser. But today I went to start it and the starter battery is now also flat. It has only been a week since I connected it to the starter battery, and the battery is a brand new optima red top.

I don't think it is a coincidence. Any help would be gratefully received!

The alarm is this one

CAR ALARMS CENTRAL LOCK + IMMOBILISER +DUAL ULTRASONIC SENSOR+ UK ENGINEERED | eBay

I didn't buy it off them, so wouldn't be able to send it back.

I would disconnect it, but I need an immobiliser for my landy to be insured....

It's twenty five quid, so where's the problem?

That's true. To be honest I didn't even consider buying it again!!

I have worked out how to use my multimeter and it doesn't seem to be drawing much current when armed, 0.02A so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I have tidied up the wiring and put everything back together so we will see how it goes over the next couple of weeks.
