3.5 V8 starting issues

Have an issue with my current land rover where once the key is in the ignition and turned there's a constant beep, is this an immobiliser issue? It's got a moss security 720 alarm fitted however no remote if that helps
Engine turns over fine however doesn't fire

as an update on my starting issues, I can get the fuel pump working via hardwiring to a second battery however no spark next

and I've seen this post on the V8 part and the 200tdi part, which is confusing?!

Yeah sorry about was just updating the post, yeah cranks fine just doesn't fire unless easy start is used

Does it continue to run after?

What have you done recently?

120k milage no real history as I picked it up from a friend who was using it as a daily when one day went to start it and couldn't so far not done anything of note as was told it's likely an immobiliser fault

so did it run or just splutter on easystart?
So you have a spark.
Do you have fuel? carb or EFI?

There are so many questions till folks that know can help.

That's not an issue happy to answer any questions I can it ran but not for long
Definitely has fuel although will have a proper check of the pump and get back to you
