So, at weekend I removed the sensors above the passenger seat, split it down, removed the ultrasonic sensors and soldered in new ones. Worked fine instantly, but this morning the fault returned :-(

so locked myself in the car, waited a min and then started to move around and .......

Nothing!:mad::mad: didn't trigger the alarm, so they are not working!? but they are new (6 days) am I really that unlucky? or are there other things to look at??

hi, dont mean to sound stupid, but when you replaced them did you make sure..
A. they went in the correct way around ( orientation)
B. the send and receive are the correct way around ( they are marked on the back )

Yes and Yes

As said it's worked fine for 6 days after replacing

You got into your car, superlocked it, then tried to set the alarm off?

If the alarm goes off when the vehicle is in superlocked mode is the quickest way to burn your door locks out.
Superlocked mode is the ultimate in security. If it's breached the car is made to burn the locks.
Don't do it!

Wouldn't worry as it isn't working anyway

I've never even checked if my interior sensors work. Can't imagine anyone wanting to steal a P38 so I wouldn't worry about it!

I'm not worried about theft, It's not something that has ever bothered me with any car I've owned. My theory is that if they want it they will take it! A few years back now near where my folks live a lot of high end cars were stolen but they left just the 4 wheels on your drive??? so you can't stop them no matter what you own

now what does bother me is beep beep beep "Alarm Fault" every time I put the key in
