 Hi everyone, can anyone tell me how I can find out the 4 digit code for the Emergency Key Access (EKA) function for my alarm? It's the code that you use that determines how many times you turn the key in doorlock (lock/unlock) in the event of an anti-theft component/system failure.
The origonal owners manual was nicked along with the code & I can't find it on the replacement book that I have!Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Oops, sorry, the alarm in question is on a 1997 300 Tdi Disco

I think you can get the EKA number from a LR Dealer.A very good idea to have it in your wallet or log it in your phone, as it may save you from alot of expense and stress as i found out on Friday.

Key fob packed up, no way to start LR, AA man called couldn't do anything ( reassuring that the alarm and immobiliser works on my 10 year old Discovery!), £100 upgrade on my AA membership to get me home.Fortunatley found EKA number in paperwork, now stored in my memory.
And managed to get a new fob on Saturday morning from Barrets of Ashford(LR Dealer), who were fantastic! And not as expensive as i was expecting, £67+Vat.Even got fed and watered at the dealership, as it was the launch of the Freelander 2.

There are 2 ways to get the EKA code, first is from LR traceability via your main dealer,(only works if the car still has the original ecu,or its been updated with LR)or you can have it read out of the ecu via Testbook. This is the most reliable way as you are sure of having the correct code.
