Airbag air lines

Hi all can anybody tell me how to disconnect the airline from the airbag without cutting it.Its push fit connectors thats on there and the airline wont come out.Tried all sorts to to get it free.Or is it just a case of cutting the line and reassembling.

i thought you push the pipe in then hold a collar in and remove the pipe, just like the plumbing connectors if you've ever done that sort of thing, does that make sense? lol

Hi Paul thanks for the reply.I thought that as the idea is similar to the plumbing connectors . The collar pushes in but the pipe aint for coming out

will end up cutting it me thinks

Fitted sum only yesterday . And paulw is right you just hold the brass ring down while you pull pipe out . Takes a good tug to do so . Not shaw if you can do this if the air springs are full still you might have to release air 1st from compressor end before the pipe will release .

Got it sorted thanks for the advice.I have swapped over to springs so I have a good airbag going spare if anyone wants it. The air suspension was ok before the bag burst so the other bag is good never dropped an inch all the time I had it.
ps I'm in central Scotland now and Africa
