Hi guys, haven't been on here a while, purely due to being too busy, also I have neglected the range rover for a couple of weeks, and as it sat there the rear suspension has decided to sag its arse and by the looks refusing to rise. Just had to jump start it, and left it running for about 15 minutes and there was no life from the suspension. Its been sagging for a while and its not usually a problem, get in it start it up and it would rise, one air bag has been changed so I only need to replace the n/s/r, just havent got round to changing it. Now usually when its on its arse, and started the normal ride height would flash, presumably while it was finding itself, but no it sits on load height and you have to command it to rise to normal height, but the lights not flashing and its not rising. Has my compressor burnt out?
It did make the clicking noise when I shut the door though?
Also if I replace my compressor and rear bag have I got to get it reprogrammed?? Or is it just a case of fitting them?

Clicking on door shut is suspension finding it's own happy medium. If compressor is heard running when engine on it's not burnt out, but may well be leaking, more likely though the 1 bag not replaced. Try the soapy water trick; raise to wade, open tailgate and spray air bags/lines/junctions.

Compressor knacked or if compressor making good air, diaphragm valve leaking. Leak in rear bags. Clicking is valve block opening inlet valve and corner valves to try a lift car. No air no lift.

Thought as much. Think I'm buying them from Island 4x4? Can I get away with just changing them? Or has the ride heights got to be reset?

Same again, just stick it in and fire up.

Three mounting bolts, one pipe, one electrical connector

Thanks Datatek, will let you know when Im changing it. Just been out in it, was riding on the bump stops when I pulled it off the drive. Left it on the road and activated high mode, which after a few seconds it obliged, so looks like my compressor is ok at the moment. Thought I'd go and put some petrol in it, filled it up paid, got back in and the switch was reading load mode??

Don't delay changing your bags, and checking pipes and connections whilst you're at it. The longer you leave it the more work you're asking the compressor to do so you might end up having to repair / replace the compressor as well.

Better get that air spring replaced, that is a pretty serious leak and your compressor ain't gonna love you for trying to keep up with it.
