I have a 1986 Vogue with coils suspension. Rather unusually I aim to convert to air, because I want to make it ride very low on the motorway.

I would appreciate any advice on how to locate the air units in the spring mounts.

You could always fit some slightly lower springs to strike a happy compromise!? Cheaper option. Unless of course you venture into the rough stuff sometimes where you need superior clearance?!

Just a thought. Try Demon Tweeks for different sized springs.

Hello njh here.
Am i right in thinking on the classics (i've had Two) that the top spring mounts have a hole in the middle and that the air springs have a post with hole for a quick release pin in the middle?
If so then the only thing i can think of is to weld a plate to acommodate the post's.
