Hello all,

I have a 2007 rrsport 2.7 hse, the air suspension warning light is flashing red. If i turn the car off and on then the warning light comes off but is coming back on a lot more frequently now??

Ive tested the suspension in all modes and seems to be working??

Any thoughts and ideas??

hi

really need the codes read , as it can be a few things , ie worn out compressor , dryer blocked causing it to overheat, etc etc

1) does ur suspension drop at all over night
2) can u hear ur compressor run , then stop without any warning symbols appear
3 does the warning light look like a car with arrows above it plse, also does anything come up in ur message centre when the warning comes up

where abouts in London are u, wondering if my code reader would work on urs , alas mines the D3 but all the engine and running gear is the same platform as urs

if it’s the hitachi compressor u can get rebuild kits , not always successful but an option if that’s the fault

PS, may i ask have u had all ur front and rear belts done inc the renowned oil pump cover

Im in the ruislip, harrow area.
The suspension doesnt drop but the compressor does run then stop sometimes without any warning lights and sometimes with.
Yes thats the warning symbol that appears in red!
The message that appears says,
“Suspension fault
Please stop safely
And turn off engine”

No i havent done any work done to it as i got the car in feb with no issues until now.
Is the things you said something I should definately get done???
My car has just hit 80,000miles is there anything you reccommend doing???

Hi sorry for button in on your post I had these issue and before from leaking the fluid for the antiroll bar gud units were going low And topping up the fluid helped as it was only a light leak I now have another issue with mine my compressor ain't running and jeep is lyin on the ground I have faults for system not filling quick enough and for the control there are fuses under the bonnet to the LHS there is no power to the 5amp one at position F3 for the control unit and seems to have a short in the line anyone have any wiring diagrams for them. thks for the replies , it sound like it’s overheating , ie the dryer incandescent is blocked and needs replacing

i’m not 100% but think u have the amk compressor fitted on urs but it would be beneficial to save money in the long run to get it onto a diagnostic reader, that way they can see live data of the compressors output and motor temperature

put a pic up of live data from my D3 , i bought my own reader , pays for itself very quickly

indeed , need to 100% check the belts have been done , front and rear , 105,000 miles or 7 x years , along the oil pump cover , extremely important

You appear to be on the wrong website. This may be helpful http://jeep-club.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=13

This one is for Green Oval, sometimes known as Land Rover, if lucky known as Range Rover, if even luckier known as running, but never a f#@*ing jeep.
Do have a lovely day

Thank you so much for the advice, greatly appreciated.
Is the dryer incandescent an expensive part to replace?? Along with the belts and the oil pump cover?? Rough estimates??
Are you a mechanic cos you seem to know a fair bit or have u had these problems yourself??
If so are you local to west london??
