i know its been done to death but i read and re read most of the pages on here.
My bags go down now and again, if i pump them up using the button on the dash to the full height they stay up.
If i leave them at the normal height they go down.
Ive tested for leaks on the bags but as they stay up when full ruled this out.
Then my mate thought may be the solanoid valves . so ive changed them (ebay) and the same happens again.
would rather keep the air than springs.
No issues when driving etc ive checked the connections on the air bags and they are fine.
Also its been on a diagnostic snap on at the mot and no faults where registered
Any ideas? PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ its doing my fruit in!1!!:mad:

Sounds like could be pipe work or connectors. Bit of washing up liquid solution sprayed/brushed around pipework & connectors might show up a leak?

my money is on bag leak, they used to seal themselves from time to time, valve or pipe leaks are usually permannent, this intermittent style points to the bags 99.9%, if you know they are old better replace them both and at least you ruled them out for the next few years... you'll not observe a leak with the engine running cos the compressor compensates for it but there's the risk to make it exceed it's duty cycle or even worst burn it down

Just remember that if it's a seven seater your insurance will now be null and void. The air suspension is to comply with European legislation. I did the spring change on my last car, I found the ride to be a lot harder, took a while to get used to aswell.

Think that is an urban myth, its been discussed several times on here and always the same answer, it doesn't invalidate your insurance.

IMO they didnt want to perpetuate that fiasco which EAS was on the early RRs:cool: ...SLS is way more reliable

it's still a blasphemy though:mad:

+2! Im still convinced my air rear end stops excessive body roll, which gives it very nice handling.

I changed mine the moment it started dropping, all good now, got new ones from Paddock, they are in Britpart boxes but they are the Conti OEM ones.

If the air springs are original they are pretty tired by now, changing them is very easy,
