Hi all hope everyone is well my vogue has gone rogue on me again... if anyone can shed some help my way it would be much appreciated, i have the dreaded air suspension inactive lights on dash, i have a brand new battery from land rover on at the time i done the usual left to right lock which ressetted the message all was fine bout month later the message came back reset it again the everytime i drove the car for a while it would come back on tgen eventually i cant reset it no more it has new bags all round when i turn car off the and get out the car levels it self unsure where to go next i had it reset with diagnostics when mot was due and it has come back on

Look in glove box for a silver handle that opens the hatch to the world of the reliable landrover world and prey the wolves dont see you? You may find an answer there.....
Seriously though, you'll need to plug the bugger in to see if there is anything afoot!!
Do watch out for the wolves though....;):p

I assume the alternator is charging correctly?

Left to right lock to try and reset the fault could be the clue.
Not being familiar with any of the other models, I have no idea which that works with, apart from the L322. So without model, I personally am guessing. I know you know lots and lots, with decades of experience but some of us are still learning ;)

Apart from which , if anyone else had asked, the give us a clue rule would have been played

Edit: button clicked for a few days, as you're on one . Enjoy. I will :)

He should certainly have given the model and year, but as far as I know only the L322 uses the silly lock to lock reset.

Not heard of a grey hair day?
" a blonde moment" ive heard of, not to be sexist of course.
I find that doing the reset trick in the p38,(although it doesn't apply to this model) helps to mow down the protesters here at the moment and sometimes eleviate eas and unreliability stress:p;)

Plenty Gilletes Jaune round Poitiers yesterday when we went shopping, it's started to get violent in Paris today.
EAS is reliable with good maintenance.

Blond/e applies to all , so no sexism in it :D We need to alleviate stress any way we can :)

Doing Lock To Lock will only reset the Steering Angle Sensor (and thus the ABS and the EAS systems as they use the same CAN bus) - it is usually only done when the battery has been disconnected or the battery is getting weak - check battery condition is rule one.

People think the lock to lock resets the EAS, it doesn't, it resets the Steering Angle Sensor which is primarily part of the DSC system which is controlled via the ABS ECU......the DSC system also uses the EAS Height Sensors for stability and vehicle attitude information.....hence why if the EAS faults, the ABS/DSC/HDC will also log a fault....and vice versa.

I would be looking at battery first, Diagnostics on both the EAS and ABS system second and then deal from there.....

Remember - lock to lock reset doe NOT reset the EAS ECU....it resets the ABS ECU, which in turn allows the rest of the CAN based ECUS communicate again.

Some school days are busier than others but always happy to learn Especially from Ant. :)

Hated school.. couldn't wait for 3.30... preferred pulling things apart and lego to reading and writing and bloody religion? Really??
Ha, me too. I used to be sent to church on Sunday, went to a mates instead, changed clothes and went flying model aircraft instead:cool: The school I went to would be called a sink school these days, all my learning occurred when I left school and started work with day release and night school plus what I learnt from my father.:D
