I've looked at other threds but this seems to be new. My 01 td5 discos has gone to full lift on both sides and won't come down. Key fob will lift it up if i let the air out of the bags and the dash switch seems to do the right things with the dash lights but has no effect on the suspension. All the valves on the pump are clean and working including the dump valve .

It looks to me like the ecu isn't opening the left and right valves when the dump valve is opperated. Anyone got any good ideas ??????

does it sink at all when you switch the engine off? Mine drops very slightly when the engine is turned off, then readjusts itself when the engine starts.

I sometimes hear a 'hiss' as i get out the car?

No it dosen't drop at all , Over 30mph or dash switch or the key phob . Have checked the drop/dump valve and it is working you can hear it work as well but there dosen't appear to be any signel to the left and right valves which it looks like they must be powered to allow the drop??

What do people think of the spring conversion kit avalable for the td5 disco. Dose it have any insurance implications and how do they feel to drive??

personally i wouldnt bother, because even if you fit them yourself, it still has to go to stealer to be put on the computer for the air springs to be deactivated. Also if you have seven seats, i think you have to have the springs or take the extra seats out.

I would take it to a indie, before you get too drastic. Might just be a dodgy ride height sensor or something.
