I'm still trying to fix the air leaks that have appeared since changing my rears.
Whoever thought emergency inflation kits were a good idea should have a look at the air leaks introduced by the one on mine. Stupid bleeding idea.

thx to everyone for all the great advice, and offers, pity i am not in the uk i would be happy to take you up on them. i do have two other questions in regards to what i have read in other posts about the eas system.
mine has been hit and miss on the staying up overnight or when it is turned off. i have read that you should leave the tailgate or a door open to see if it is the springs or a leaky valve. so i did and it went down overnight but just on one side and more in the front. when i started it up of course it came right up and was level in about 2 minutes. so.. does that mean the springs are at fault and i am correct to replace them or does it mean that there is another problem. sorry to sound daft but reading over the other posts i am not sure which is which. and lastly, i find that the battery charges up just fine but if i leave it for an overnight or two the battery is drained dead... could this be from the system constantly compensating for the worn/leaking springs or the valve problem (which ever it is.. lol). again thx lots for all the kind help. and a round of drinks if you all ever come to the outer banks!

sounds like a leaky airbag,have you done the soapy water test on them yet.

you could try lowering the car to the access setting and leaving the car for a day or two(prolly best if you know you wont be using it) see if the battery has drained!
in access mode it should try to lower much if at all!

Sounds like a duff battery, the self leveling should not flatten the battery even if it self levels all the way down to the bump stops.
Yes it sounds as though you have a leaking air bag or two.

Not necessarily! I've just replaced mine (well the back two) and it's still going down overnight (actually it goes down even faster now). I then found major leaks in the connectors used to connect the stupid emergency inflation valves so I'm just waiting for replacements for these.
It goes to show that it's not just the airbags that leak, so check everything with the soapy water test!
