Anyone know where these buggers hide?
I havent got either Air con or heater fans, I have checked every relay I can find in both footwells and under the passenger glovebox and all test ok, Also checked every fuse I can find, so must be missing something.

Any ideas?

I need better description of the fault to be able to help... and explain exactly what you did for troubleshooting untill now then maybe i'll have an ideea, confirm you have the Electrical troubleshooting manual

i have elec manual
i have no heater fans - they dont work on any setting. The air con button doesnt light up. I have checked fuses (all of them) and all the relays i can find. Looking at the manual, power comes from ign sw through fuses A8 & B3 (both OK) to A./C/heater relay AC1 and then on to the AC switch and heater fan speed control. Both of which are dead.

My AC seems to be a bit peculiar (aftermarket?) as both the AC fan relay and the compressor clutch/ trimary sw relay are in the engine bay by the brake servo.
I have a rubber tube which runs from these relays thru the bulkhead with 3 wires in it. A Y/G from #30 on the comp relay, A G/K from #85 on the comp relay and a S from #86 on the fan relay. I can find the other end of this tube where both the Y/G and the G/K wires are bare ended?? I# cannot find the S wire, but the rubber tube does go up, behind the dash.
If I feed 12V on to the S wire at the Fan relay end, then the A/C switch light comes on, so I believe that is were the problem lies - as stated no power from AC1 (If I have one).

Not sure where to go from here.

Unfortunately if it's not original i can't help much as long as i dont have the diagram...if that 12V you gave which powered the switch was after the relay's contact chase what's missing on the relay's coil and where it's coming from

You said that you gave 12V to the relay's end so which other relay are you after.... do you have 12V on one side of that relay's coil?, cos it should get it from the ignition load relay and it's triggered with ground from the switch

sorry - i put 12v on the fan ctrl relay #86 S wire, which lit up the AC switch light.
I am looking for the relay which supplies power to both A/C and heater fan speed
