air/con rad

hi guy in need of a aircon rad as my one is u/s, the thing is landrover made the front end of the p38a, smaller for the new aircon rad in the late 2001,so the stc3679 will not fit to big, the size of the 1 i have is 24 by 15 by 1 inch, can someone help or can i make the stc3679 fit again,as i no the pipe will have to be replaced, as i have a new stc3679 in the shed, any help will be great:multiply:

This was covered a few weeks back the older condensor is now obsolete and unavailable....you could try the Bay of E or our forum Sponor Emmots of Colne....

Otherwise you will need to get the newer one and do a bit of fettling to make it fit...

Don't think there is any shortage of the older rad. It's the smaller one that is a bastard to find except for seriously silly money.

STC3679 (early one) is available from Rimmers (genuine or so they say) £403.02. Patterns can be got almost anywhere for less than £100.00. JRB000030 (smaller one) is not available neither is JRB000040 it's replacement. Places like Autocool may have them but only pattern ones.

Opps - my bad

I knew one was harder to get hold of - thought it was the older one (for obvious reasons due to age!!)

I got a new one of fleebay for about £80 in the summer. Perfect fit and 2yr warentee I think.

I'll dig out the detail if you can't find one.
