Air con compressor

Is it possible to unbolt and move the compressor without the need to re-tension the belt?
I need to get a new glow plug in #1 and am looking for the quick n' easy way..

mine's a V8 serpentine but can't imagine it's much different.. how would you envisage moving the compressor without taking the belt off?

Was thinking more about the need to re-tension but it appears to be self adjusting on the 300

its not a problem to retension i swapped my compressor and you will only need to put a ratchet with a 1/2 inch drive in the square hole and pull or push on it and then tighten the bolts only needs 1 person (it's on a sliding plate and shouldn't be a self tensioned the only one that is tensioned is the fan belt)
