air con belt

Here's a quicky for someone to answer for me....


Air con pulley is fubarred... just pulled the bearing out the back of it and its wobblin around like no ones business, its been making a noise for a week or two and progressively got noisier, now occasionally locking up n giving off a nice burning rubber smell, I've just located the problem this afternoon and ordered a new pulley... my question - am I gonna bugger anything up by running without the air-con belt? I don't need the air con and I can't think of any reason it'd affect anything else...

aircon belt only runs the aircon i dont have one fitted and its fine
