Talking of pain...completed EAS block overhaul before heading off to hospital. Planning to refit it and take Schraeder valves off each corner. Hoping that'll be pain-free too!
Someone had clearly been in there before and one of the valve seal springs shafts was siezed solid. Freed it off and hope it works correctly. Is one of the three spring "thingies" SUPPOSED to be "arse over tit" compared to the other two?

Yes one of the non return valves is the opposite way round to the others
Pheeeew! Thanks for putting my mind to rest. It felt right...but didn't look it if that makes sense?
Can't wait to reinstall it and try my handy work out. The EAS block installed when I bought the P38 had been PUMPED FULL OF SILICONE! Can you believe that?!?!

Told you Jon Dor always get your health fixed first then life always seems rosier. Have a better New Year than what we are going through. Mother in law with terminal cancer, matter of days now if not hours. Faults with cars pale into nothing.
Always count your blessings I do

Sorry to hear about your mother in law. Cancer has no respect for anyone...I had a scare two months ago when they thought prostate cancer was back, but thankfully not the case. The NHS really performed out of their skin. I'm sure your Mother in law is being well cared for.
