Hi folks
Just acquired a 1982 S3 Diesel (Marine Blue, galv chassis, overdrive etc) and wanted to install some extra gauges to keep an eye on things - oil pressure, water temp and voltmeter. Before I go ahead, thought it was worth asking those in the know if there are any specific/obvious places to install the sender units which a newbie to LR might not know about. Current plan is for twin adaptor onto current oil sender location so can run new gauge and still retain existing warning light. For water temp gauge, plan was to put in-line sender housing into top hose and go from there - however, open to other suggestions as the vehicle has an electronic fan kit fitted and the sensor for that goes into the top hose so a bit wary of complicating that location too much with another one. Could use existing water temp sender location I guess but would like to retain existing dash gauge as well if possible. Any suggestions gratefully received. Apologies if this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything obvious on the search function (unless I was not doing it correctly which is entirely feasible!)
Thanks
