The photos of the wheels you've attached are of the same design/type wheel so there's no difference!
Nodge are they both 15" 5 1/2 JJ? I'd guess then that the 5 whole one has a greater offset to allow for wider tyres?
Presumably something is different about them though - whether its to get over larger calipers on the front or squarer drums on the back - presumably something is different.Apart from the wheel alignment holes on the front face those wheels are exactly the same and off the vented brake setup models so the offset will be the same on them all
If the 15 and 16 bits refer to the wheel diameter - I'm sure 15" was the standard fit on L Series Freelander's - that's what I have on my '99.I found out that they have both the same offset 6.5Jx15 ET40 at least that is what tyre-size.com says. But for a diesel it should be 7Jx16 ET40 so as it looks like someone took the wheels from a petrol fl and put them on mine. (maybe the previous owner). Bit as soon as i get the car i will remove the tyres from the wheels and i will check them by my self just to be sure. And i will let you know
