Suspension advice! Springs are like a dark art with lots of snake oil sales men out there! Im after updating the springs and dampers on my 90 soft top during the build im doing.

Currently im running standard springs all round. Standard height and standard poundage. I get great articulation off road, but it rides a bit low at the front and the on road handling is like a super tanker!

The vehicles is a 90 soft top. It has tubular front winch bumper, winch, tree sliders and large rear recovery and tow hitch etc. I use it for off roading mainly, but the vehicle will be going from 200tdi to 4.6V8 during the build, so much faster - hence the concern on handling.

Currently:-

Front 175lbs/in Standard Height
Rear 225lbs/in Standard Height
No Anti-roll bars either end.

Im thinking about:-

Front 175lbs/in > 225lbs/in Progressive at +2" height
Rear 175lbs/in > 225lbs/in Progressive at +2" height
Front ARB
Rear Disconnectable ARB.

So what do you think. critique please :D
