I have two Discoveries in the same boat only I've had them laid up for far longer.

What I try to do is firstly to cover them up and put some of those hydroscopic crystals in the interior to absorb moisture, also I keep the battery off them but charge it up and give the vehicle a little run every now and then just to make sure things are still functioning, and this involves at least running the vehicle around the car park if not a sneaky little run down the road and back, (don't do this)
You could of course jack all four wheels off the ground and leave it on axle stands, or even take the wheels off and store them elsewhere to protect them from deteriorating in the sun. Sidewalls can go very quickly if you are unlucky.
do ensure all liquids are topped up and especially the coolant has a lot of antifreeze in it.
As for the covering them up thing, try to put a soft cover on first then a tarp to protect the paintwork as best you can.
But it isn't easy and makes you wish you just had a huge heated barn you could put them in!
Best of luck mate!:):):)

Hello, thank you for your reply, some good tips there was worried about damp inside time for get a load of Crystal pouches , thinking maybe some those moister pots ?
Not sure about giving it run potentially run it 5 mins but due to head gasket gone don’t wanna risk any more damage ?
But yes need to take battery out was not the best to start with so prob dead as door knob currently ..
got plenty of large tarps so good start just find something soft time raid the mrs blanket box wrap her up

Them moisture catching pots are not bad, wife had a couple of cheapies in her car and they seemed to catch quite a bit, they wont keep on top of a leak but seem to be enough for damp alone.
I think you will be fine for the next 4/5 months, its when the cold weather gets here that you could be in trouble, cars do not like to stand outside unused.
