Hi everyone,

Hoping you can all help with some advice on a cabin solid partition. I’m looking to buy a removable cabin partition for winter too help keep the cabin warm in 0 degree temperatures. I’ve looked and looked yet can’t seem to find what I would have thought would be a popular winter accessory.
Have found plenty of products for commercial vans but nothing Defender specific.

Any help or direction towards a product or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Never noticed a commercially available divider (apart from when it forms part of a bespoke conversion for operators such as the electricity companies etc), people just seem to make their own or as already stated, adapt as fume curtain.
I have used a fume curtain for the past 25+ years but then again my vehicles in that time have all been soft-tops, prior to that (when I had hardtops) I didn't bother. That said, when fitted they are worth there weight in gold as they do an excellent job of separating the space and in winter (the only time I fit it) reducing the area to be heated.
Below is an old photo of the fume curtain on my 90 soft-top, it doesn't take much imagination think of ways to adapt it to a hardtop with the added bonus that if you wanted to remove it in a hurry (to carry a long load for instance) it is the work of a couple of minutes to remove.
