1. You mention the alloy wheel cleaner. Does this eat away the oxidised allow, and if it does, could it be used on our oxidising body panels before priming and painting?
The only way to use on alloy wheels is because the wheels have a laquer finish which is near impervious to the mild acid cleaner - if used directly on alloy you won't have an alloy body left, the acid will literally eat the alloy
2. I have used aquasteel before with mixed results and it is annoying when you put your best efforts into treating steel only for it to start rusting again within 12 months.
I've used Aquasteel many times, it works but is only a rust film cover - the rust re-appears where when painted on there are small air bubbles, these pop allowing new rust to form. Aquasteel needs to be painted in 2x directions to remove any air bubbles...same Bilthamber Hydrox 80, KuRust, RustBeater et al.
3. You mention using this inside your chassis. What do you use to wash the inside of it.

4. Also what do you then use to apply the acid inside?
A gardeners spray bottle with a homemade lance extender made from a Dinitrol lance with spray tip [drill a matching hole in the end of the spray bottle, insert lance and Araldite in place]

One other point, you must not use a high pressure system when working with acids in this application, it's safe low pressure control that's required.
