I have sorted the boot door that wouldn't open.

New mirror glass on the n/s.

Just need to replace rear pads and put it in for an MOT

Then it will have a bloody good service,oil filters and all levels and replace antifreeze.

What is the service intervals on a disco Td5?

12k on fully synthetic oils and 6k on semi synthetic oils make sure you use OAT antifreeze and change both oil filtersurban panzer has a service sheet on his web site http://www.discovery2.co.uk/handbooks_Etc.html

I noticed there was two filters,one by the turbo,where is the other one?

Also tried to change the antifreeze today(the OAT stuff),but the drain plug on the steel hose was tight and didn't want to round it off,i will wait till i get it to work where i have the proper tools and a pit.

dont bother with the drain bung just remove a hose and for the oil filter thry are both but the turbo 1 under it and 1 infront of it www.discovery2.co.uk / Oil and Filter change thanks again to urban panzer for the link

Right the Disco is ready for test now hopefully it will pass,the only thing that might fail is a rear bumpstop it is starting to come off or he might advise it as i know the tester well,and he is fair.
