Advice appreciated

Hi we have just registered with this site and mainly to say a big thank you the information on this site is invaluble we have two landrover TD4's 03 and a 53 (needed for work) and thanks to this site we have saved a fortune on mechanics, we have just bought the 53 plate and with the knowledge off this site changed its fuel filters, rocket filter, air filter, intercooler pipes - found the rear fuel pump - makes us wonder why we bought it but never mind we did! our next shout out is does anyone know why it seems to be holding back with its power compared to our 03 plate not too sure what else to check we have put diesel dettox through it to help clean the fuel system but still sluggish. cheers.

Maf On Td4 Mas On Older Series. . . .

Try disconnecting maf near brake reservoir under air filter housing, If better fit a roveron unit, cheaper than replacing maf

thanks very much will look into it got the haynes manual out the library for back up today as well -bloody thing got me demented sure it will be worth while when running smooth.
