I have a 1990 90, and would like to add power steering. My gf finds it really hard to drive so I would rather its safer for her. So whats the deal, can it be done? What do I need in the way of parts, funds and time/skill level!

Cheers all.

Just bought a 110 and have the same concerns about my girlfriend so went and sploke to a landy specialist that i know.

Ment to be a prety simple swap, you need to change the steering box for a PAS one and you will need a tank and all the pipe work and the pump that will drive it all. All that and away you go.

If you get round to doing it before me let me know how it went! :)

Ok, heres what you must do, you buy a kit, it has the lot, you change the steering box and plumb up the pump etc...

Thats about the strength of it, let me know if you need any help.

Hi!
I too just have the same problem. I have a 1990 110 and need to add PAS to it so that my wife can drive it too. Really difficult to park the huge 110 without PAS.

Where can I buy the complete Kit and can it be fixed by a novice or has to be done by a professional. Are there any online photos on how to do it by BUSTER (He really has helped us all with his HOW-TO-DO Posts). Are there any online stores where I can buy the kit?

Appreciate the help, .
Thanks

Erm... Have a look at Priths' location... :)

I have no PAS on my 90, my missus is fine driving it.

Well, she can't work out the gearbox but thats a differeny story.

Thats a nice one, :D atleast your wife can drive it, My wife saw the 110 and freaked out as to how she will drive it. Well have to thank her for allowing me to pursue my passion of rebuilding the 110 back to mint condition & hence would like to share my happiness with her too driving it.
