Hi mate
I have used acetone to remove tyre glue from my carbon wheels when i used to cycle race, go easy though as it is strong

Nail varnish remover. Which is basically acetone. Cheap as chips from the local supermarket.

Read the label tho, as acetone free nail varnish remover is a thing now ...

...and if you mix it with ATF it makes great penetrating fluid.
Is also the best stuff I have found to use when removing other mastics around the house.

ive been busy fitting new metal railings round the house & got a few boatsto repair hence why ive not been on much.

Glad to hear you are fit and well. How are the covidiots round yours? Round here they have been so stupid they have been on national news and at least 2 have seriously come to grief. We've been busy, done lots of bluddy tricky bits on the Disco and are still waiting on the Frogs opening up to let us in, even if we have to quarantine! The weather has been ridiculous which has been nice except it brought the tw@ts into our area. Wifey actually had to send out for T shirts and shorts! All our good weather gear is over the channel!

I did see the Door incidents mental, very quiet round here but 10 miles down the road is over run with numpty's
flooding to the shores leaving all the rubbish & ****tting all over the place as all the toilets are closed.
ive done nowt to the disco but I got my 90 motd so been running about in that for a change.
The weather here has been outstanding I look like ive been imported lol

Yep the fly tipped sh!t is an issue and we are running a book on when the 2 nd wave will hit. Such a pile of cr@p, literally. Have taken the Disco off the road and got the tax refunded, been self-isolating so just start em up from time to time, tho left wifey's Pluriel a bit too long, it told us by setting its alarm off, which couldn't be stopped by disconnecting the battery, obvs! That'll teach us! Normally by now we'd be catching a tan by workin outside in frogland. Instead I have to wear a cap when outside over here at the mo. Never known it in this country. Stuff that needs to be tipped is piling up all round the house, looks like a travellers' site! Im pleased to know yous are keeping well...
I haven't heard of any local cases here the nearest has been 30 miles away in a care home which is now clear.
Looking at the news it astounds us that people are so relaxed im guessing the sun turns people brains to mush
so it wont be long before it kicks off again. Ive got burnt all my rubbish & took all the scrap down to the unit so
I have nothing at the house for the first time in 15 years, the misses is delighted so a major revamp is ongoing.
