My problem is the Active Cornering Enhancement on my 2002Discovery TD5 ES automatic. Either the Amber or Red warning lights are permanently on. There is no noticable change in the characteristics of the car since this happened whilst touring France in September, and I have since travelled 1200 miles. When switching on the ignition, Amber and Red warning lights come on in the correct sequence, extinguish, then either Amber or Red lights flash after the engine has run for 10 or so seconds accompanied with audible warning for 1 minute, after which the light remains permanently on.The hydraulic fluid is at the required level in the ACE tank, and there are no signs of any leaks in the system. Circulation of the fluid can be seen in the tank when the engine is running, which I assume confirms that the "pump" is functioning.Any advice would be welcome to correct my problem.

From your description and he fact that it has fluid in it there is probably a simple explanation. The only way to find out is to put it on Testbook and read its ACE fault codes / view the live data.My guess is that one of the lateral accelerometers has failed or is out of calibration.
