Ace turn off in derby please.

Can anyone turn my ace off please in derby. Just brought my 2002 td5 disco and looks like the pump/pulley been removed for a unknown reason. Amber light on dash. If anyone can have a look at it that would be great.

If you can't find anybody with nanocom to disable the warning you can DIY with a piece of wire, unplug the ECU if it's still there and make a bridge between pins 11 - 36 in the plug, then you can sell the ECU if you dont need it anymore(concentrate to not mix terminals), if you are concerned i tell you that that's what the ACE ECU does to extinguish the warning lamp, makes an internal bridge between pin 11 and 36 if no fault is present after the self test

If you're anywhere near DLS in Wirksworth, they should be able turn it off for you. They may charge though.
