Ace Pipes MOT

Disco 2, 51 plate, 66k. Just through MOT. Got "advisory note" in regard to rust on ACE pipes. Is it worth cleaning these (wire brush carefully) and treating with Waxoyl etc, or should I be looking at replacement of all pipes. The latter option is v expensive!! Would like to put off work until I have more cash, and would appreciate others advice on this.

I gently sand-papered mine and then coated them in grease.
